Paid support is available at an hour rate.
Please contact us for more information.
Reporting bugs and security issues for our commercial products is not
considered as support.
You might obtain support for each edition of
StreamSec Tools. Please note the following:
- We always support only the latest release of each major version.
You cannot purchase email support without a source code subscription.
- You do not need an email support subscription to report bugs and get
them fixed. We must however be able to reproduce the bugs and confirm
that they do not depend on misuse or interference with other products.
- Questions about the use of StreamSec Tools are also answered in public
support fora.
Consultancy
We offer consultancy in accordance with separate agreements if you need
any help not covered by your support agreement. Example:
- Implementation of custom security services, such as application
specific security protocols.
- Design of system specific Certificate Hierarchies.
- Development of system specific utility applications, such as control
panel applets for certificate management.
Warranty, QA and Bug Reports
Subscribers will get an additional two month subscription for each
confirmed non-duplicate bug they file.

Bug Report Forum.
May I deploy my applications after the
StreamSec Tools subscription I purchased has expired?
Yes. The license agreement and your deployment rights are not related
to your update subscription.
In that case, what's the idea with the
subscription?
Contrary to most other products StreamSec Tools is extended incrementally. We
add new features not only in major versions, but in minor versions and
even in separate builds. It would not make any sense to sell major version
upgrades, so instead the upgrade subscription is time limited.
Any customer who wants to may still
purchase an update license only once the StreamSec Tools library has evolved
enough to make an update interesting to him. Our (StreamSec's) interest in
this deal is to give our customers incentive to report bugs and to propose
new features ASAP, so that an update is released before the subscription
expires.
